DMCA Notice
v2026-04-21 — 2026-04-21
Airtune is a directory, not a broadcaster
Airtune indexes publicly available internet radio streams. We do not
host, record, transcode, or redistribute audio. When a listener clicks
play, their browser connects directly to the station's stream URL —
the same way a browser would if the user typed that URL into the
address bar. We act as a catalog, not a CDN.
Takedown requests
If you believe a station in our directory infringes your copyright, or
you are the broadcaster and want to be removed from the directory, use
one of the following paths:
Quick removal form
Submit the Station Removal Request form. This
is the fastest route — we typically action removals within 48 hours.
Formal DMCA notice
If you prefer the formal DMCA process, send a notice that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing entry (station name,
slug, or direct URL on Airtune)
- Your contact information (name, email, phone, address)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed
use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the above information
is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to
act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send to the address listed on our Contact page.
Counter-notice
If you are a station owner and your entry was removed in error, you
may submit a counter-notice with the same elements above, plus a
statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district
court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy of removing entries and, where appropriate,
terminating the accounts of users who repeatedly submit infringing
material through the suggestion form or reports.
Program and schedule metadata
The program name, host, description, and image we display alongside a
station are either pulled from the broadcaster's own website or
entered by an admin. The text and images belong to the source
broadcaster; we list them for directory purposes only. To request
removal of program-guide metadata, reach us via contact
— we'll remove the relevant program/schedule rows from our directory
within 24 hours of receipt. Include the station name/slug + the
program name + the air date/time (if applicable); a formal DMCA
notice is not required for program-guide takedowns.
